An
asteroid is hurtling toward Earth! Before the impact, teams
of pupils represent different political parties in power as
the government. They need to track the asteroid, model the
impact and predict the environmental consequences. Teams must
design and finance survival bunkers then prepare and deliver
news broadcasts. Then, they must await and model the impact!
Following
the impact pupils take the role of 'bunkered survivors'. They
face a range of practical problem-solving tasks as they struggle
to survive against the odds in a scenario designed to stimulate
the most creative thinkers!
